SINGLES: Wed./Thurs., April 28/29, 2010 Fri.,April 30 is the RAIN DATE, if necessary.
14-end games for Triples and Pairs, 18-point games for Singles for all non-final games. Finals are longer. Blind draw for rinks and opponents for the first round of play in all events, except for minor geographical seeding to assure that skips from the same clubs or provinces do not face each other in the first rounds only. FIRST DAY QUALIFICATION followed by flights on day Two. The tournament committee reserves the right to limit entries to each event. Likely limitations are: 32 Triples teams, 48 Pairs teams, and 64 Singles players. Available rinks or specific numbers of entries may all for either more or fewer teams to be allowed. All entries will be taken on a first come (paid) basis.
Deadline for RECEIPT of paid entries is Mon., April 19, 2010. Entries received after this date may be placed on a standby basis, if the number of entrants exceeds the above limits. $25 (US) per player per event.
HOTEL: Arrangements have been made for group rate accommodations at the Santa Anita Inn, located on a 5.5-acre site about 1.5 blocks from the greens, at 130 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia, CA 91006. The per-room rate is $63.00 plus tax, and includes continental breakfast. The hotel has a very limited number of rooms available, so early reservations are suggested.
