Open to male members in good standing of clubs approved by the SWLBA, or male club members affiliated with National or International organizations.
PAIRS: Sat./Sun., April 28-29---FOURS/RINKS: Mon./Tues., April 30-May 1, ---SINGLES: Wed./Thurs., May 2-3. Fri., May 4 is the RAIN DATE, if needed. Some PAIRS teams may play in a different venue Saturday. All teams check in at Santa Anita and leave after announcements. 48 team maximum for Pairs on second day.
14-end games for Pairs and Fours, and 18-point games for Singles for all non-final games. Blind draw for rinks and opponents for the first round of play in all events, except for minor geographical seeding to assure that skips from the same clubs or provinces do not face each other in the first rounds only. Multi-flight system or first-day qualifier followed by flights, depending on the number of entries per event. Entry limits: Pairs – 64; Fours – 32; Singles – 64. DEADLINE for RECEIPT of entries is MON., APRIL 23, 2012. Entries received after this date may be placed on a standby basis until even number of teams are entered.
$25 (US) per player per event.
HOTEL: Arrangements have been made for group rate accommodations at the Santa Anita Inn, located on a 5.5-acre site about 1.5 blocks from the greens, at 130 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia, CA 91006. The per-room rate (2 queens) is $63.00 plus tax, and includes continental breakfast. The hotel has a very limited number of rooms available, so early reservations are suggested. If the number of entries exceeds the form below, any piece of paper with the proper legible information is acceptable. Entries do not have to be sent in all at once, but should be sent in timely fashion, since late entries may be refused.
Bowlers who require a partner—e-mail Jim Olson and ask to be put on a list(available to anyone requesting it) to find an available partner. Players will be responsible for forming their own teams.
