The Tournament Committee of the Southwest Lawn Bowls Association invites entries in

Sat. - Sun., April 12-13, 2008 at MacKenzie Park LBC. 8:30 announcements, 8:45 trial ends.

For full details about this tournament, please refer to the Tournament "Bluebook", available at your club. Highlights:

· Open to male members in good standing of a lawn bowling club approved by the SWLBA, or affiliated with National or International organizations.

· Deadline for receipt of entries is Mon., April 7, 2008. It is possible that late entries will be refused. Everyone should enter in timely fashion, allowing ample time for mail delivery.

· $25 per player

· This is one of the “points” tournaments, which means that the winners will receive points towards the SW Division All Star Team, and the USLBA National Team.

Format: TWO DAY EVENT

· 1st Day, Qualification: Three (3) 16-End games. BLIND DRAW.

· 2nd Day, Eight best teams ranked by WTPP return for Finals.

· 2nd Day, Finals: 18 -Ends, for 1st & 2nd place. (16-ends all other matches)

· 2nd Day Seed teams by results of first day as follows; team 1 vs 8 ,4 v 5, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6 ,
